Borough
Beautification
The
Zoning
and
Code
Enforcement
Office
has
been
working
diligently
to
facilitate
the
condemnation
and
demolition
on
blighted
properties
within
the
Borough.
Since
May
of
2006,
the
Borough
has
condemned
a
total
of
seven
properties
and
demolished
six.
The
seventh
property
is
currently
being
rehabilitated
by
the
homeowner.
As
of
February
2007,
nine
other
properties
are
being
considered
for
condemnation.

Dunmore
Moving
into
21st
Century
The
current
administration
is
always
striving
to
better
serve
the
residents
of
the
Borough.
The
administrative
office,
police
department,
and
fire
department
have
been
upgraded
with
new
computer
systems
and
office
equipment
designed
to
increase
both
productivity
and
efficiency.
In
addition,
a
total
of
23
vehicles
with
a
value
approaching
$1.4
million
have
been
added
to
allow
the
police,
fire,
and
public
works
departments
to
deliver
more
efficient
and
effective
service
to
Dunmore's
residents.
